Warply is pleased to announce its recent hire of Kartik Ram, who will join the company as director of sales for the United States and Asia and the appointment of Sixto Arias as an advisor.
Kartik within his role will lead Warply's business development Team. Kartik's proven background in scaling mobile marketing organizations profitably, accessing new markets and overall senior level of experience, will help Warply to ensure that it continues to grow at a record pace, allowing the company to establish its leadership position within the mobile marketing and advertising market.

Kartik comes to Warply with nearly 20 years of experience in the mobile marketing and advertising sector. Most recently, he was General Manager of Asia for Adfonic, one of the biggest mobile advertising networks globally. Prior to that he has served as senior Vice President for One97, a pioneer in mobile internet delivering mobile content, advertising and commerce services across Asia and as a Director of Sales for Velti. He has an MBA from the London School of Economics and a degree in business from Stanford University.
Sixto Arias joined Warply as an advisor to the board. Sixto is a seasoned entrepreneur having founded Mobext (currently part of the Havas media group), a company that offers a truly end-to-end, mobile marketing agency service to clients with presence in 19 markets globally. He has a really in depth knowledge of the mobile marketing industry.
Sixto founded the Mobile Marketing Association in Spain and he is a lecturer in several Universities across Spain, namely Universidad Complutense de Madrid , Universidad CEU Cardenal Herrera , ESIC and IE Business School. He has studied in Insead, Columbia, Berkley and the University of Madrid. Sixto will help in formulating the overall strategy of the company and facilitate the expansion in several new markets within the year.
The new appointments come right at the conclusion of the first year of operation for Warply and at the moment where an international plan of expansion is being implemented.
